1937

Nicola Abu Khader opened his retail spare parts shop in Jaffa, Palestine.

1948

Business was closed and the shop was looted due to 1948 War in Jaffa, Palestine.

1949

Nicola Abu Khader immigrated with the family to Amman – Jordan and opened his auto Spare Parts Shop in Al Salt Street in Amman – Jordan.

1960

 Nicola Abu Khader & Sons. Co. Ltd was established.  

1981

Arab Group for Chemical Products co. ltd. was established and acquired the Dunlop Franchise for the whole Middle East to manufacture and sell Dunlop branded adhesives and sealants.

1982

Nicola Abu Khader & Co., moved to a modern, state of the art 5000 Sq. meter warehouse and was the first company in Jordan to computerize its operation.

1982

 Nasco established a new branch under the name of Middle East Real Estate and Trading Co., later re-named Nasco Automotive co. in the free zone in Zerka, Jordan. It was the First private company to establish a branch in this newly established location.

1983

Sight and Sound Education center was established, offering world class secretarial courses, work force training and career development.

1987

Motor Vehicle Trading Company was established to handle the dealership of Mitsubishi Trucks and Buses in the territory of Jordan. The Daewoo bus Korea franchise was added to its line later on in 2008.

1991

Third generation Nicola Abu Khader joined the group, in 2003 Nicola Abu Khader become The CEO of AK Group till today.

1994

International Storage Batteries Co., ltd was established. It is a factory manufacturing automotive batteries under license and technical agreement with Hoppecke Co., ltd., Germany.

1994

 Palestine Motors Co., ltd was established to handle the dealership of Mitsubishi Motors in the Palestinian Territory.

1995

The Opel Franchise was added to the Group for the Jordanian market.

1996

Nasco Automotive FZE i was established in Jabal Ali, Dubai  and  Nasco Automotive S.A.R.L was established in Lebanon both to handle the sales of  auto spare parts, tires, and lubricants.

 

1997

Al-Khalej Auto trading was established to handle the Gulf motor oil franchise.

1998

Nasco Automotive Co., was established in Cairo, Egypt to handle sales of auto spare parts and Tires.

2002

 General Motors franchises Cadillac and GMC were added.

2003

Al-Muheet for mineral trading (later re-named Hydron Energy co. ltd.) was established to own, operate and manage several Gas stations in Jordan under the Gulf brand.

2006

Comprehensive Leasing Co. (CLC), was established as a public share holding company. It offers complete leasing services for vehicles, machinery, medical equipment and real -estate. Another company, fully owned by CLC was established under the name of Comprehensive Vehicle Trading to handle financing services under the CLC umbrella. In 2013 and 2015 two new branches in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan, Iraq were established.

2008

 General Motors Chevrolet franchise was added.

2010

The BMW and Mini franchises were added to the group for the Jordanian market under the Abukhader Automotive brand.

2010

Sixt Rent a Car franchise was added to the group.

2011

Nasco Parts & Automobile Trading LLC was established in Erbil Iraq and later in 2015 a new branch in Sulaymaniyah was established.

2012

Nasco and Partners – Tyre Center Ltd. was established in Accra, Ghana to handle spare parts, tires and lubricants. In 2014, NASCO and Partners – Tyres merged with Eurovehicle Company, Nasco Eurovehicle company (NEVCO) was established.

2013

Jordan Turkish Investment Co., (JTICO) was established in Zerka Free Zone. It specializes in manufacturing of all types of mounted structures ranging from garbage compartments to ambulances, refrigerators and others. It is a pioneer in the automotive up-fitting in Jordan. 

2013

Nasco became a founding member and shareholder of Nexus Automotive International, Nasco is proud to be a key member in Nexus Automotive and is represented in the Board of Directors and the central sourcing committee.

2014

Palestine Motor Vehicle Co., (PMC) added the BMW franchise to its line under the Abukhader Automotive brand name. PMC moved to a new BMW state of the art Showroom and service center in down-town Ramallah, Palestine.

2013

Brilliance and Cherry Vehicles as well as Tata Daewoo trucks were added to the group.
